Game Changers

You are about to become
that
Which you were told
you would NEVER
become

You the back-benchers
who walked in silence
yet carried the wisdom
that gravity is the only thing
to pull you down.

You are about to become
a beacon so bright
a full moon turns jealous
same as naysayers
who put a doormat on your heads

Now that their feet are dusted,
they have walked over you
leaving you to spring
back
from pain, you too
have dusted yourselves

You are about to become
that
Which you were told
you would NEVER
become

Daughters and sons
of a divine universe
You have conquered
Yourselves, first
fears planted within
uprooted, you soar.
